Its a Maple (I think) 14 x 5.5.
![]() Tama Superstar S Serial Quantity OnThere is certainly a serial quantity on the Tama logo - 151646 and provides 10 tuning lugs per side with ordinary chromed equipment, clear varnished timber surface finish and Starclassic 20 follicle snare.Dont think its a StarcIassic though as thé strainer mechanism doesnt show up high end and there is definitely no Starclassic badge on the drum - just a Tama logo with vent out pin in centre. The badge is definitely a kind of really patinad bronze colour (nearly brown) and Us FootballRugby Basketball shape. The strainer is much better than basic and functions easily but doesnt appear top high quality. It doesnt appear in any present catalogue I can discover but I dont think its especially aged - it appears in good problem with really faint pitting to the chromed equipment which provides washed up quickly. Sorry about the absence of photograph but my camera has developed a sense of laughter and I havent yet thought out how to blog post photographs. So far Im 50 into it which I are happy with but I would appreciate it if you could help me recognize it. It appears like its á 7 ply 6mmichael Artwood Maple Design AM255SMP from 2003 (but the Tama logo is certainly 2002 - think this is definitely ok as the system was transformed from 6 ply 8mm to the newer edition after that so they were probably using up the final of the badges from old share). The just point that doesnt check out out is certainly the strainer but searching at the nails inside thé drum the strainér types are different from the bottom. Think thats why the strainer is definitely a bit cheesy compared to the rest of the drum - its an aftermarket non Tama replacement. ![]()
